Orthotics

Biomechanical foot dysfunction occurs in 7 out of 10 people. Foot orthoses, commonly called orthotics, are specially designed shoe inserts that help support the feet and improve foot posture. People who have chronic foot or leg problems that interfere with the health and functioning of their feet may be prescribed orthoses by their chiropractor.

What to Expect

If your feet are not functioning properly, then they are not ideally absorbing the shock from the ground as you walk. This dysfunction can result in painful syndromes such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, osteoarthritis in the knees, bunions, and many more. Orthotic therapy can prevent these conditions, and you may be a candidate!

In our office, orthotic assessments are done by our chiropractor, Dr. Ginter.
The assessment includes a thorough patient history, a gait assessment, and a 3D scan using the innovative scanner.
