Caring for Your New Orthotics
Most patients need a short break-in period as their feet and gait adjust to the added support. It's normal to wear your new orthotics for a few hours at a time during the first week before working up to full days. If you notice ongoing discomfort past the first couple of weeks, let our office know. Custom orthotics are also built to be moved between properly fitting shoes, so they can support you at work, at the gym, and everywhere in between.
